About the Artist
Constance Peters is an award winning photographer. She is passionate about photography and has shot thousands of photos from California to dozens of countries across the globe for over 40 years. Her artistic background helps her to have a creative perspective on the subjects she photographs. She strives to reveal the beauty and magic of the world through her photos. She loves photographing nature, sharing photos of her travels, capturing portraits in outdoor settings, and creating digitally altered photos. Her recent tripsin 2013 included Yellowstone (in January), Thailand, Peru, Ecuador, and Central America. In 2012 were to and Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana) and in 2011, to China and Tibet, Germany, Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.
In December of 2013, 2012, and 2011 Constance won the honor of being the Hemet Art Association's "Photographer of the Year". She'd also received this award in 2009.
Constance is a native Californian whose first career was teaching. She is now pursuing her second career as a photographer. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, painting on silk, hiking, snorkeling, and of course, traveling. She is a member of the Hemet Valley Art Association, the Fallbrook Art Association and the Temecula Art League.
Peters photography and silk scarves are now being displayed and may be purchased at the Brandon Gallery in Fallbrook and the Hemet Valley Art Association Gallery in Hemet.
